SECOND ITCORNER GERLACH CLIMB 2023
….once again, we faced the highest peak of the Tatra Mountains!
In summer conditions, despite weather adversities, our fantastic teams succeeded to unfurl ITCORNER flags on Gerlach (2,655 m). Great trip, brilliant company, and what a beautiful experience!
Lots happened! We visited one of the most beautifully located mountain hostels in High Tatras, Téryho Hut, Mountain Hut – Schronisko na Hali Ornak, and Mylna Cave. At a great lecture on TOPR and safety in the Tatra Mountains, we met Kuba Hronowski, a TOPR (Tatra Volunteer Search and Rescue) mountain rescuer. We went to a sauna, enjoyed a hot tub with a Giewont view, ate and a wonderful local restaurant, talked about anything and everything, also planning… the next mountain expedition.
